The People of ONF is a content series that showcases the interesting, creative and all-round cool people that make up oneninefive.
Let’s get to know Tim..
When did you join ONF? 2018
What’s one thing that surprised you about working at ONF? That office scenarios don’t need to be beset with office politics, managing internal stakeholders, and gossip.. Was brilliantly refreshing to come to an organisation where everyone is treated with the same mutual respect and decency, and are given the same opportunities.
What led you to this industry? I graduated with a Politics degree a few years back, and at the time saw a career ahead in that. I essentially landed in B2B via an environmental services company, but since have continued to be amazed by some of the brilliant, innovative thinkers at the heart of this industry. Amid this, the pace of change is brilliant, and should keep all of us on our toes at all times.
What’s your hobby or passion project outside of work? Back in t’ day I was a reasonably proficient musician, with tastes across electronic, jazz, rock.. (this is sounding dangerously like the response to a Hinge question). I’m making the most of the extra hours in the day by dusting off my musical gears! Otherwise, often spend Saturdays (pre-quarantine) enjoying the delights of south London’s greatest non-league football team – Dulwich Hamlet
What’s your favorite way to unwind after a busy day? Cold lager
How are you adjusting to the working from home lifestyle? Any tips on how to stay productive? I’ve found the key is to have variety over your location. Spending a whole day sat in the same room, staring at your computer, can get tiring.. I’ve found a great way to stay productive is to take calls in different rooms of the house, and just spend some time doing work that doesn’t involve staring at my PC.
What trend do you hope makes a comeback? Heelies
What did you want to be when you were younger? A tech marketer operating in the B2B demand gen space (one day I might make it..)
What’s a trip that changed you, and why? The Trip – starring Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon
Quick Fire Q’s
What are you watching on Netflix right now? Fireplace for the home (if you know, you know)
What’s one song that you’re embarrassed to admit you like? Robbie Williams – Feel (live at Knebworth)
What’s one song that isn’t played enough? Robbie Williams – Feel (live at Knebworth)
Sand or Snow? Which would you prefer to holiday? Sand
One meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? The £4 curry box from the Shoreditch Stop on Great Eastern Street
How do you like your eggs? In the morning
